This is a gateway bbh: no blood or pork hock, but the soup is on point. And I love that it's not swimming in too much annatto-red oil. Nice to have hot soup on a cold day.

First dinner! We did what Louis C.K. calls a "Bang Bang" because the K-BBQ place told us it would take 90 minutes to get in. We ate a meal and the wait for the other place was only 60 minutes, haha.

Tasty. The jade noodles are the best dish, hands down. I liked the rich broth in the boat noodles too.

Didn't get a chance to take too many pics bc I was catching up with friends. The service was a bit haphazard. We received our rice and then 25 minutes later the Three Cup Chicken which would have paired perfectly with the then-consumed rice.

Four chowder sampler: smoked salmon chowder; daily special lobster, crab & corn; seafood bisque; seared scallop. The bisque is my favorite of the seven soups I've tried here.

It was a cold rainy night and warming myself with a Bloody Mary was just what I needed. I really loved the raw oysters and the delicately flavored geoduck.
