Strewed duck thigh over egg noodles. I've realized I just don't love duck though it was tender and flavorful. The Chinese broccoli was lovely, perfectly cooked in a soy based sauce.

I got the mixed meat soup with tom yum. The broth was solid. But honestly, the liver and offel was super gamey.

Slightly upscale Thai restaurant. The highlight was the morning glory with wood ear mushrooms that were in salty soy and fish sauce. The deep fried fish was also flavorful and different from what we've had before. The spicy pork salad was okay, but didn't punch flavor.

Stewed pork over rice from a street vendor at Summer Hill. Perfect in it's simplicity and only 65 bhat. Flavor packed yet not greasy.

We went to Katsuya on a whim and were impressed. We both got the lunch set - me the kimchi spicy soup, Jordan the arimori soup. Mine was legit spicy. We didn't need to eat another real meal all day. Great value!

We were craving something cheesy so wandered over to W Market for wood fired pizza. These were legit and high value for the money. Delicious!

First prad kra pao of the trip hit right. Pork was salty and flavorful. Jordan said his soup was good too.

Halal style thai food. Very flavorful and clean tasting (not oily). Each dish was packed with flavors - lemongrass, ginger, basil, garlic. Vibe was cute. We loved it!

Lovely dim sum joint on Sukhumvit 71. We got the Szechuan chicken that had a salty and slightly spicy sauce we ended up dipping everything in. Three items of the dim sum menu - pork and crab dumplings, chili sauce pork and shrimp wontons, and bbq pork rice rolls. It was our first time with the rice fold format and we loved them. And a side of garlic sauteed kale. All was delicious!

Isan style thai food. The spicy squid salad was indeed spicy but balanced with citrus and mint. Morning glory had tons of fried garlic on top. And the grilled chicken was crispy, also with fried garlic, and a salty fish sauce for dipping. Unpictured - sticky rice.

We both had the Kuay Jab which was our first time with this dish. We loved it. Peppery with some sweetness to the broth. Rolled noodles. Crispy pork, pork innards, congealed blood, puffed tofu, and egg. Solid macros. We will be looking for this dish again when we are in Chinatown!

Full English breakfast. The black pudding was the star.

Delicious. We both went for the Signature bowl which had Egg Noodles, Prawn & Pork Wonton, BBQ Pork, Crispy Pork Belly, Roasted Duck, Crabmeat, Shiitake, & Chinese Sausage. My favorites were the Chinese sausage and the wontons. The only thing I would want different are fresh flat egg noodles, versus the thin egg noodles used.

Our first japanese in Bangkok. It was solid, but nothing to write home about. The teriyaki chicken was tasty. The okonami was meat packed, but could have been crispy. Unpictured, the chicken katsu was boring according to Jordan. Good value though, $20 out the door with leftovers. This would have been $100+ in the states.

Delicious vendor in Phra Khanong. I got the Stuffed Tofu Soup which has a light broth, egg noodles, and puffs of tofu. Hit the spot for someone with a sore throat. Jordan got the special Zaew Noodles which had all kinds of goodies.

Delicious Khao Soi. Rich and spicy broth. Nice crunch (although would have preferred actual fried onions).

Good value, quality food, and healthy. The quinoa and roasted vegetable bowl was fresh and voluminous.

Excellent value, enough food for 2+ meals for 2 of us. A bit salty and overall mid on flavor.

Solid Nashville hot chicken. When we drove up, we were surprised (questioning) by the location within a gas station ⛽. But we continued forward, and are glad we did. We both got the second to hottest level (Hot). I got the tender basket which was excellent value and the biscuit was decadently delicious - butter with a honey crust. The waffle fries, Cajun style, were crispy and well seasoned. Worthy of being on our list of Nashville Hot Joints.

Wow, stopped at Zanes after our visit to the DMV. We went in for coffee and we were sold on the gyro meat to buy shawarmas. Zanes is like Lebanese Chipotle. Delicious, excellent value. Makes me want to visit the DMV again soon.

Leos is a staple in Michigan, a classic homey feeling diner. Consistent and great value. We were grateful to have one last Leos experience before heading aboard.

Absolutely delicious. The steak tartar was loaded with garlic, lemon zest, and anchovies. The ricotta gnocchi were buttery garlic pillows. And the basque cheesecake, wow.

The braised short ribs were rich, tender, and excellent value. Not pictured, but the mozzarella sticks were more like Bosco cheese sticks and were decadent. The marry me chicken was disappointing - under seasoned and the chicken was tough. Overall, rating it Great because the braised short ribs exceeded expectations.

Chicken katsu was delicious and good value. Crispy with rich and balanced curry.

Beef burger loco style with loaded plantains. It was alright - patty itself was mid. Only 2 plantains under the various toppings.
