Not the way I wanted to celebrate…
BUT, we can’t always have what we want,
even on one’s birthday.
The morning started out by a wake up call from the accounting dept saying I didn’t approve all of the time cards. The time card I didn’t approve was for someone who no longer works for us anymore.
You woke me up for this???
Then I get to work and the plumber sets off the fire alarm and doesn’t know how to turn off the siren, he was here last week too.
AND this was only the beginning of the day.
No matter how crappy my day was at work, I am fortunate to have good friends and family who took time to call, text, or sent me a message on social media. It made a bad day a lot better.
A couple of weeks ago, my mom commented that no matter what kind of problems or issues we might have, there’s always someone who’s in a worst situation. Be thankful.
As someone who has many followers in Eastern Europe, I have a connection with those in Ukraine who are dealing with this invasion, destruction, and the loss of life. So, my crappy birthday doesn’t seem so bad anymore, right?
So, when I saw no line at Benito’s Taco Shop on a
Taco Tuesday, I had to stop and order 5 Rolled Tacos.
For those of you keeping score at home,
this is what I had for my birthday dinner.
Thank you, I am grateful.
