When Orange County plans change AND you’re hungry… I headed to Ramen Shack in San Juan Capistrano. Although @goramen wasn’t in at the time, I promise I will let him know next time. Negi Shoyu at Ramen Shack with a Classic Chicken & Dashi Broth, Diced Pork Chashu, Sunset Powder (Keizo's Secret Homemade Spicy Powder), Scallions, Kizami Nori (Shredded Dried Seaweed) and I added Chicken Chashu and extra green onions. On some Sundays, Cara serves her famous breakfast sandwich from an upper floor apartment and delivered via a red bucket drop. To get a reservation, you need to be fast and reserve one while the reservations are available. Because open reservations are during my lunch rush, I always miss out. But last month, Cara happened to be serving her famous breakfast sandwich with her hot sauce syrup on the side at #smorgasburgla. Besides getting to finally taste this famous sandwich, I got to see some of my Smorg friends too. It was a delicious sandwich and glad that I was FINALLY able to try one, although I didn’t get to experience the bucket drop, you can’t always have everything. Enjoy what you can get! A Double Oklahoma Fried-Onion Cheeseburger from Tripp Burgers on Sepulveda Blvd. and Palms Blvd. Paper thin Sweet-Onion slices are piled on each Tripp patty then smashed, cooked and served with American cheese on a toasted bun.
