Being in quarantine I almost forgot about Yummi. I did get a picture of dessert and the outside of the restaurant. Finally being set free by Gavinito Newsomlini, we were able to enjoy a nice seafood dinner by the beach in Malibu. Definitely a place you want to visit when in California.

First time at Five Guys. The burger was really y good. My wife loved the hot dog. The fries are cooked in peanut oil and well done. Very crunchy. The place was clean and bright. We’ll be back.

Presidente has now been renamed as Tres Hermanos. Still the same owner. They changed the name because the reviews on Yelp were bad. But the food was still mediocre. The Enchilada Suizas was good, but the Fajitas were bland and flavorless. The tacos were cold and the rice was clumpy. It’s one thing to change the name, but you still need to upgrade the food. And the bathrooms were disgusting.

I took this food to go. It was a chicken parm sandwich. It was good. The girl at the counter was very nice and helpful. It was near closing time so they weren’t busy. I’ll be back to try the other sandwiches.

They would have gotten three thumbs up but there was a cockroach on the wall. But most restaurants in LA have them. The pictures show the Poke Roll, teriyaki chicken and the JHG Roll, with albacore tuna. The sushi is excellent, so don’t let a little bug stop you from eating here.

The chicken orzo is fantastic. The meatball panini on sourdough is very tasty. We came here for the double chocolate Bundt cake, which didn’t let us down. This is a nice breakfast/ lunch cafe.

It only gets a 2 thumbs up because I’m not crazy about Korean food. I came here because my wife loves it. If this was her app it would be 3 thumbs. I told her to get her own app. You bbq it right on your table. The chicken was great. I did not care for the bulgogi, it was too chewy. I don’t like the side dishes either. But I filled up on the chicken so not bad. If you like Korean give it a try.

We had the Volcano Nachos, which is huge! It’s a meal in itself. I also ordered the Cheeseburger in Paradise, which I started eating before I took the picture. You can see the remnants here. It was very good. They also have all the usual suspects on tap. Nice logo too.

The Bear Pit has the best BBQ Beef on garlic toast sandwiches in town. Great fries too. My wife enjoys the BBQ crispy chicken salad with the spicy sauce. She will sometimes substitute ranch for the sauce. They also have BBQ ribs, chicken and burgers. I would highly recommend it.

Idaho smoked BBQ. I had the Ball Slice sandwich. Similar to tri tip. Very tender and flavorful. Came with a boatload of fries. Located just outside of Sandpoint.

Your basic bar- diner in Colbert, WA. Had lunch with my cousin at the local diner. Big portions at reasonable prices. Everyone knows each other there. You’d expect them to yell “Norm” when you walk in. Can’t imagine why you would stop in unless you know someone. But it was fun none the less.

This place has great food. It’s your typical diner motif with a bar attached. You wouldn’t know how good the food is when you see the place. I had the Steamer burger. The fries are seasoned and taste great. My wife had the biscuits and gravy. Awesome. Breakfast is served all day. We had 9 people and no complaints. When you are in Spokane you have to try this place. It’s downtown near the Historic Davenport. Also serves Kokanee beer on tap!

I was expecting the usual bland diner experience at Coco’s. My dad wanted to eat there. He’s 88. Figured it’s for old people. It was surprisingly good. It looked good when served and the French toast was tasty. My wife did not like the potatoes though. Neither did my dad. Otherwise a good experience.

This place seems to be the happening place in Bakersfield. The tri-tip was great. It’s a loud place with a lot of tvs showing sports. It’s worth the visit.

This is the Chicken Club in sourdough sandwich with fries and a chocolate shake. This is my favorite from The Habit in Chatsworth. Their burgers are good too.

This particular dish was very good. However, my wife had the steak and she said it was tough. The dish I had was Austin Spring Chicken.

This place had the absolute best quesadillas.

They describe it as American Classic redefined. I had the Chicken Club. The better half had the Stand dog. We shared the chili fries. The chocolate shake was good. A good lunch time choice.

German chocolate cake is the best ice cream they make. Too bad it’s seasonal. I can eat it all year.

Tomo Sushi is a fairly new place in Northridge. The sushi is fantastic. I had the baked salmon roll. The place is small and always busy. Worth the drive for the food.

We’ve been coming to Presidente for almost 30 years. Our favorite but it changed ownership last year and it seems to have slow down. But the food tonight was terrific. My wife had the Mexican Caesar salad with grilled chicken. I had the enchilada suizas. It was a lot of food and delicious. Great dinner!!!

Brand new taco shop in the Vons shopping center, next to Big 5. Very clean and inviting atmosphere. The chicken was flavorful. The refried beans were the only drawback. Not so good, they need an upgrade. We will come back to try the burritos.

The best pizza in Burbank and the Valley.

Even though it looks plain on the outside it is pretty nice on the inside. A wide variety of food as you would expect from a deli. I had the breakfast burrito with hash browns.

Loaded Buffalo boneless wings. Brand new presentation. They are delicious.
