Healthy late lunch at home - Ribeye steak and baby boy choy, simple and yummy.

Trying something new, cooked Beef shank, purple yam, potatoes and onions with Thai red curry sauce and coconut milk in a slow cooker for 7.5 hours. The beef shank tasted good, melt in the mouth, but the yam became mushy and couldn't taste the curry sauce at all. All the food turned into 'red-shaded' color. Taste good but maybe next time should cook with carrots instead of yam.

All you can eat fish and chips on Tuesday and Wednesday, awesome price and excellent quality. Add $3 for 12 pcs of panko shrimps.

Friends birthday dinner in Coquitlam, it's great to get bottomless sides (fries, veggies, salad & pop), but the service was extremely slow, and the restaurant wasn't busy at all when we were there. Burgers tasted good, but the service was definitely disappointing.

Great idea to eat takeout sushi after a long day of work. Bought a discounted sushi tray from T&T, taste good for the amount that we paid.

Enjoying ramen and sashimi with my best girlfriends and family. Food were ok, the soup broth were a bit salty, probably have lots of MSG, makes us very thirsty after eating. The sashimi were fresh and good quality. There were 5 of us, $25.50/person. I guess that's the average dine out price for dinner in Vancouver nowadays.

Trying this new location the first time, small shop, food was great. Love their pita bread, soft and fresh. Cash only though, they said the machine is broken.

First time trying this newly opened Japanese soufflé pancake café. Delicious and we like their flavors, something different comparing to other places. Expect long lineup if you're going on weekends. We waited for 2 hours, but it's tasty and we think it's worth the wait. The fresh fruits soda were refreshing. We spent $56 for 4 girls, shared 2 soufflé pancakes. The waitress said they will have savory pancakes coming soon. We're looking forward to try that next time.

First time trying this hotpot place with my girlfriends. We enjoyed it, the service was great, our waitress was super helpful and friendly. It's a bit on the pricey side. It was $200 for 4 girls for lunch, we didn't order seafood. One of our girlfriends tried hotpot the very first time, and she had a great time.
