First try because of their recent gaining popularity. Surprise there was no queue during lunch, probably because of the secluded location.
Nasi - lemak not as fragrant. Slightly hard, not that fluffy but still grainy and the right moist.
Egg - slightly crispy lacy edge, not over fried, good.
Ikon bilis - slightly saltish. But smaller Ikan are used so it’s easy on the chewing.
Sambal - ikan bilis, shallot, onions, but a tad sweet. Somehow feel it tastes similar to Punggol nasi lemak.
Otak - no spicy kick and sweet.
Mcspicy chicken cutlet - the batter is alittle hard, and slightly drenched with oil, over fried.
Mala fish - something out of ordinary from this shop. The Mala flavor is quite saltish actually, but does bring out a slightly mala kick with some sweetness. Fried fish is ok.
Was quite overwhelmed with all the ingredients, should start with the basics next time for tasting.
