I was still craving beef after House of Prime Rib. This new Market St. location is very dysfunctional. Notice the sticker left on my roast bell pepper? Kinda weird. You’d think someone would have noticed it... makes me worried about what goes on in the kitchen that you can’t see.

Always love dining here. The food is excellent and so is the service. The portions are generous, so I always take home leftovers. We drank a Cabernet Sauvignon we got from a wine tasting at Wente Winery in Livermore. Lovely way to celebrate a friend’s birthday.

Something sweet after dinner at On the Bridge

The Japanese seafood spaghetti is light and flavorful. I also like the creamer European seafood spaghetti too.

My favorite weekday meal. Quick prep and then I’m free to do chores as it cooks. For crispier skin, you can air dry it in the fridge. Or, in a pinch, dry the skin with paper towels and then rub a little olive oil on it.

Thai/Laotian restaurant from the head chef/owner of Lers Ros Thai across the street. The food is very salty and lacks subtlety, so be prepared.

Kind of a small portion and pricey at $17.31 but it’s downtown and I was craving Mexican and seafood. I miss the beef, shrimp, chicken fajitas at Rico’s for $10...

Simple stir fry with ground chicken served with fried rice. How to feed yourself when you get home late from an after-work workout and have day old rice (never make fried rice with freshly cooked rice! It will end up too soggy.)

Tried a new sushirrito and I’d avoid this one in the future. The chicken kara-age mostly consisted of fried batter coated in a cloyingly sweet sauce. I’m going back to the Geisha’s Kiss next time.
