Love this place. It's run by a former chef from Chez Panisse.

Got our usual order. I'm not picky about service but I asked for the kitfo raw as I always do and they gave it to us partially cooked and denied I asked for it raw. I asked for another kitfo raw as specified and was charged extra for it. Plus the food took nearly an hour to come during a non busy time. I'm disappointed since I love this place so much I've been here many times, recommended it to multiple people, and even taken a cooking class from them. I'll still be back but today was not Cafe Colucci at its best.

A lot of the food was hit or miss. Wings were the best dish. Not sure I'd come back.

Couldn't find the bacon-wrapped hotdog cart today on Market St after my late night workout so I ended up eating leftovers. I added sour cream to the soup, Russian style.

The spicy noodle soup was a tad oily for my liking but authentic. The chicken feet was missing the pickled peppers.

Hot Dogs
I love that bacon-wrapped hotdog stands are now on Market St. Great, cheap (only 5 bucks!), satisfying. The guy even put two dogs in the bun. Is that normal or was it because I was friendly? Who knows? It was awesome though. (Bacon wrapped hotdogs are in the category of foods you typically eat while drunk but are still good sober. I was sober today.)

Leftovers. Chicken leg was taken from the whole bird I used for the matzo ball soup. Which is why it didn't have it's skin! I used the skin and fat to render out the schmaltz (chicken fat) for the matzo balls.
