Tried the sit down pizza and pasta restaurant there. The fried zucchini was the only thing worth ordering!The pizza crust and mozzarella was tasty, but the sauce was so liquids everything slid off the crust and you end up eating wet bread lol

I baked the ginger-chocolate-molasses cookies from Dorie's Cookies. Holy cow, that recipe is a winner.

One of my neighbors creates and sells vegan meals weekly for $5....the veggie burger and sweet potato fries were actually really tasty! And much healthier than what I normally eat!

Fun weekend baking project

Tried making chicken pho at home! I also made a matcha steamed cake for dessert. So good!

My friend asked me what I wanted as a souvenir from Japan. I responded, "ALL THE KIT-KATS!!" She definitely followed through!!! Melon, Houjicha, Grape, Egg Pudding, Sake, Apple, Wasabi, Strawberry, and unknown purple flavors. So far grape is my least favorite and sake is the best!
