This ZhongShan style Hotpot is very healthy. Seafood is steamed and the drippings go to the bottom congee adding nice flavors.

Had to do it! Got a bucket of Jollibee's chicken for lunch. This is the Kfc of the Philipine. Very crunchy, moist and overall better quality chicken than Kfc. But just as unhealthy.

Half price with Amex platinum card. The place is packed. Very nice environment. Great for dating or entertaining guests. Considered one of the nicer venues that Amex offers with discount. Needless to say the sushi is very fresh. Service really nice especially the lady at the reception. We didn't have reservations and should have waited an hour. After some friendly exchanges we got our table in 5 min. Don't let your mind wander...it was my wife talking to her.

Ran off to jockey club for lunch. The best the prime rib in a relax environment. Reminds me of the days of Movenpick Marché. I would say just as good as lawrey's.

Crazy looking chicken. More funny looking than tasty. Their bbq goose looked really good....which we should have ordered instead. Other dishes quite good.

An real surprise. This is a W hotel restaurant. Excellent food with excellent service. The food blew me away. I was there for the environment but it turned out the food was very impressive. The 3rd photo is the lobster with truffle crime sauce. WOW!!! If u need to entertain guests this is highly recommended. Service spectacular.

Part of the Miramar group this is my favorite Sichuan restaurant. Nestled comfortably on the 10f of Times Square in Hong Kong this place always pleases. Very dish is amazing especially the ones I orders. And a cold beer is a must order as you drink it out of a chilled bowl. A Sudden flashback to 1980's Hong Kong kungfu movies!!!

After my last post KAM SHAM REST. I headed here for dessert. Double boiled milk with egg white. The English translation sounds funny but this place is hugely popular. Like 50 people lining up popular. They also have this amazing egg sandwich. It's just an egg sandwich but it's unbelievable. Unfortunately this evening my wife wouldn't let me have one cuz I need to lose weight. 😤😤

Inexpensive solid Cantonese seafood. Business is very good. Kinda gives an old school HK feel...about 20 years ago. Many of the waiters are old with no expression BUT when you ask them something about the food they know their stuff. Really good seafood without the fancy decor and high prices.

Amazing korean crab. This is my second dinner for the evening after the bbq. Crazy but I wanted to make sure I ate this before I leave tmrw. This place is famous with celebrity photos on the wall. And super high in cholesterol if u haven't noticed.

Best korean bbq in seoul using charcoal. A lot of tourists but they are there cuz they are brought by locals. This pace is pricey but u can't beat the environment. Even a garden and waterfall out front. Go to this location as this is the nicest branch.

This place specializes in jeju beef - fresh. So if u like marinated bbq they don't have it. Excellent fresh tasting beef. Had some kloud beer....apparently this is the latest brad of beer in korea.

I didn't have this at home but a friends private restaurant in shanghai. 12 courses. He's on his way to getting some Michelin stars. Absolutely the delicious and gorgeous. After eating his food it's hard to visit Michelin restaurants back in France and Switzerland.

Inexpensive with a nice yakitori environment. Staff very friendly. Quite a number of expats surprisingly as the SML mall is quite local. 2 people was around rmb350

Took a 20 minute cab. It was only worth 10 minute cab. Food was good but didn't blow my mind as expected. Kinda like home cooking but up a notch or two. But the place is quite well know to locals in Taipei it seems.

Real cool environment with chinese traditional features. Excellent Hotpot with amazing presentation but a little pricey. Good way to impress a date. Choice for 2 style spicy base: Taiwan or sichuan. The shrimp (photo that looks like 4 sushi with nuts) was really good. Flavored soooo different and texture absolutely unique with layers of dried tofu, topped with nuts, a layer of shrimp and a bit of cheese. Not sure how they thought up of this dish but a must try.

Crazy packed even on a weekday afternoon. This place was recommended on cnn. Very delicious and helps cools in the damn hot summer in Taipei. Bright around the corner from Dintaifung first restaurant.

Everyone knows dintaifung but have you been to the original shop where it all started in Taipei??? Believe it or not it does taste different to the franchise in shanghai. Everything simply tasted better. Don't ask me why. The drunken chicken was "wow". It had this amazing rubbery texture to it. If u r wondering why I only order 5 xiaolongbao, well it was 3 in the afternoon but I ended up ordering another 5 more after cuz it was so good. 😋

These crayfish are said to be dirty and unhealthy here in China BUT so damn good. Packed with spices (very exhotic mix..I would bet some if which from India). Wanna taste nouveau local food, this food became a Shanghai local favorite in the early 2000.

Yang dumpling is super famous in shanghai and it looks like they've modernized. They have this outlet at the train station. Still excellent with the soup inside. I tried 3 different dumplings. Original Pork, veggie and shrimp. I still like the original the best.

The food republic is a cool food court. This is the only buyer place inside. I had the Texas burger and onion rings which are very good. The fussili in tomato soup hit the spot with a deep fried pork chop. Great fast food that is different from the regular suspects like McD and KFC.

A delicious pepperoni pizza. Make sure u ask them to burn the crust as they tend to under cook. You can't beat half price evening from Monday to Friday with the Amex platinum card. A super amazing deal.

Huge porterhouse for 2 and excellent onion soup with extra cheese. Very nice live music with a non-philipino singer. the neighboring bar area was quick packed and busy on this Thursday night.
