I Am Spartacus! “Spartacus” Pizza from Ghisallo in Santa Monica. With house fennel sausage, salameria biellerese pepperoni, red onion, black beldi olives, garlic and slices of Fresno chilies for a nice kick. I liked the toppings on this pizza and since they have a wood-burning oven, I knew this would be good. I did enjoy the flavor, but the crust was a bit too thin in the center to hold to toppings for me. I need to come back and try the pasta dishes. #pizza #spartacuspizza #ghisallo #santamonica

It’s been at least 3 years since I’ve last had a @AvocadoToastCA toast at a farmers market and this morning’s breakfast at the #beverlyhillsfarmersmarket did not disappoint! Avocado Toast with a whole avocado, salt & pepper, some seasoning and a squeeze of lime on top of toasted sourdough from Bub and Grandma’s Bread. It was suggested that I add a hard boiled egg and Pico de Gallo with heirloom tomatoes, lime, cilantro, red onions and jalapeños. I was glad I took their suggestion and it was delicious!
