Went to MYST as early Mother's Day celebration dinner tonight. We ordered 大份鹽酥雞, 小份花鵰醉雞, 小份豬手套餐, 紅油炒手, 大份酸辣湯, 牛小排配黑椒汁, 同埋一人份佛跳牆. Everything tasted good, great portion. We were assigned to sit in the kids friendly area with bigger table space and kids cutlery, appreciated the restaurant's 貼心安排 😋😍

We bought beef brisket with daikon and 椒鹽肉排 from Richmond public market food court, and cooked some yu choy and rice at home as dinner. Everything is so pricey now, $16 for the beef brisket dish, only came with 8 small pieces of beef brisket, 2/3 of the dish is daikon 😓😓

Got a cheese Danish and flat white with almond milk as afternoon snacks. Very disappointed that the cheese Danish is much smaller than before, but doubled the price 😓

We baked pineapples honey mustard ham at home as bakbak's birthday celebration 🍍😋😍 We also have some eggs potato salad as side dish. We ate mango swiss roll and mango pudding as desserts 😋😍🎉

We went to Denny's for lunch because it's bakbak's birthday, and he gets a free grand slam ($12.59 off). But the quality and portion of food becomes much smaller than before pandemic. I tried their new jalapeño bacon cheese burger, it's underwhelming, it didn't come with the speciality bun as per menu, and I didn't taste any spice in the beef patty at all. It was pretty dry and bland. Quite disappointing. My love ate Chick N honey burger, also underwhelming. Even their signature grand slam wasn't the same, didn't come with hashbrown or toast now 😥😥

Had a super delicious and elegant Japanese dinner with 2 girlfriends. We have fish that are freshly imported from Japan. 😋😍😍 We ordered lots of yummy food. Forgot to take picture of the real crab meat & tobiko avocado salad 🤣😋
