Been wanting to try Fineprints for some time now, but the last time we went, there were a boat load of people outside. Given that their only indoor seating consisted of one large bench that seats probably 12, seating is pretty tight there. That crowd eating outside obviously made me want to check it out even more! So off we went at 11 this morning, hopefully early enough to beat the crowds. Hah. How wrong was I.
With a small menu consisted of only sourdough based toasts (like literally sourdough with jam, avocado toast, egg toast, and smoked salmon and avocado toast were the only options), their toast was on point. After our initial bites, I finally understood the masses outside. It was crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft inside. The avocado was well seasoned and sooooo creamy. DH doesn’t even normally order avocado even enjoyed his smoked salmon and avocado toast, he thought, the nut added a nice variety of texture.
For your sweet tooth, their assortment of cookies was most definitely appealing. The Kitchen Sink Cookie with pretzel, potato chips, and chocolate chip was good! Of course, DH comments that it’ll be better if they heated up (like every other cookie he has..)
In regards to their coffee, which is probably the make or break element, ticked the box.
All in all, I’ll definitely be back soon!
