2-hatted restaurant in Melbourne. One of the better degustación I’ve had in a while. Matching wines included Basque Country vino and sherry as well as vermouth. Worth breaking the Good Friday abstinence 😬😇

Fun Day to kick start the weekend! Have not had a root beer float (they call it a spider here in Oz) in years! So naughty and so good.

Quaint wine and cocktail bar. We had a 4 course dinner - Chef surprised us. We didn’t know what we were getting. Huevos y churros (celeriac purée filled- yum!). Roasted mixed root vegetables and nectarine purée. Best simple roast chook and mash. Mille feuillle (so?) to round it off. Averna for digestif.

Always a treat here. Galette with prosciutto and figs and goat cheese and salad. Paired with a dry French cider (from Bretagne)

Our local Italian is like a 2nd home. Celebrated my daughter’s 13th with a pizza dinner (not in photo). I had the fragola in squid ink sauce with mixed seafood plus a slice of Napoli and also broccoli and mixed salad. Then spoonfuls of the tiramisu

Been going here for 15 years. Menu changes daily. Truffle mushroom pizza tonight. Then Kingfish with onion soubise, South Australian mussels, samphire and fresh peas. Chef Damien has done it again!

Mushroom. Tsukune. Also had duck and bao. 2 glasses Nero D’ Avola. One Ukeshu.

Fresh cooked sticky chicken with slaw and sweet potato. Not bad for a work cafeteria
