So this was my day. The liver-mushroom dish was better than it looked.

I have decided to create what I am calling “The Yummi Challenge” where I shall post everything I eat and drink every day for 30 days; everything from snacks, meals, and beverages – everything except water. So wish me luck. 🍀

Consistent, well-prepared dishes.

Delicious but expensive. Uncomfortable bar chairs, but the place is tiny. Very small portions. Expect to spend quite a bit. The dumplings were my favorites.

Yummi! DO make a reservation on OpenTable. I did and passed a line at 1:30 pm on a Tuesday.

prosciutto di parma makes a tasty shareable plate.

Plump Salt Spring Island, British Columbia mussels tasting of the sea; delicious crab cake. Both on appetizer/small plate menu. Plenty for lunch.

Super service and tasty food.

Worth the stop. Surprisingly fast service. You can sit on steps and order appetizers and drinks. Nice view!

The bagels and salmon dill cream cheese were good. Pancakes were supposed be served with “maple syrup”, but it was just artificial maple syrup. Otherwise the pancakes were just ok. Nice place to look at the scenery.

Tasty burger and fries- a rare treat

My New England friend said this was one of the best crab cakes he has ever had in his life- he’s mid 60s. Tasty duck quesadilla and fig appetizer.

My friend had the sausage platter and I had the Dip (French dip on house-made focaccia. I had a good iced tea with my meal. Delicious! Nice servers.

Delicious And refreshing beet salad is definitely recommended. Add grilled salmon for a healthy and delicious protein.

Butternut squash, quinoa, roasted corn and poblano in a corn tortilla topped with mole sauce, jalapeño lime vinaigrette on slaw, black forbidden rice. Short rib taco note that the short rib is not vegan! Devine!

Better than okay; it’s good. Vegetarian quiche, pork sausage links, fresh fruit hits the spot for inn residents only. Come early as serving times are short and tables are few. Check current serving times.

Thai Green Curry Chicken (I removed the green beans I cannot digest) and Korean Short Ribs with not-too-spicy kimchi. Starter of shrimp and avocado spring rolls. Excellent and served beside a pretty little creek.

Scandinavian mixed lunch platter of frikadelle beef and pork meat ball and medisterpølse pork sausage, sauerkraut, marinated cucumber, mashed potatoes and gravy. We shared this tasty plate for lunch. Diners who love Scandinavia food would give this a Yummi vote.
