Dwayne dropped his cappuccino in the market so barely got to drink any. He was holding stuff for Me so I felt bad. We got Our pastries in the market today. The matcha was in a squirt bottle so not thinking it’s the real high quality deal. I liked the flavor and could taste blueberry but it was a little too sweet and not very hot so cooled off quickly

What The Pitta - Vegan Kebabs & Falafel
Turkish
All vegan. Loved the chicken in Dwayne’s and the sauce flavor but glad I got mine bc the wrap Was thin vs his thick pita bread and his had fries. Mine had cabbage and salad. Mine was supposed to have jalapeños but I left them off. Both of us could choose sauces and we both picked garlic mayo and tahini. The meat was good. Really enjoyed the falafels with hummus tho my hummus has better flavor. Probably our least expensive meal. Seemed like a not as nice part of town) something was being filmed on the street but we don’t know what.

Breakfast
Didn’t have high expectations but man was I wrong. Loved my green detox smoothie. Loved the sausage and bacon meat substitutes on Dwayne’s plate. The tofu lacked flavor but I missed it with the grilled halloumi and it was salty enough. I got breakfast of champignons and Dwayne got the full veggie breakfast.

Dwayne’s mushroom pasta was amazing. Mine was tasty and healthy. Bc of our online reservation we got a free dessert and I chose banoffe cheesecake since it’s English (the whole place is vegan). Not a fav but nice to try. Waiter was so slow but so nice. I had to get our water myself bc I think he forgot and then it took him forever to bring dessert and then to bring the check. Got charged for the dessert but they came and refunded it. Would like to try breakfast

Nuttea
Drinkscasual
Closest I could get to a London fog. They make their nut milk by cold pressing the 5 nuts shown on the pic. All teas are made with it no dairy milks. The nut cream was good. I didn’t exactly get the English tea experience I had set out to get but it was good. It wasn’t very hot so cooled quite quickly.

Mother Mash

We enjoyed this place. You choose a base of mashed potatoes. Then either sausage or a pie. And then a gravy. Dwayne: bubble and squeak vegan sausage and veggie gravy. He was quite satisfied. Kim: colcannon, vegan pie, onion gravy. It was solid but not all vegan. The only vegan potatoes you can get are sweet potato or classic. Neither of us got those. We both got vegan middles. He got vegan gravy and mine wasn’t. I got toffee pudding bc I was trying for all the English traditional foods and they had vegan vanilla ice cream to go with. It was good. Dwayne had woke up starting to get a cold so he only had a bite. Want to try again with a sweet potato mash and the woodland mushroom and dark ale pie I meant to get. I think this is like a steak and ale pie imitation

Pumpkin spice slightly less sweet. Solid. Same with the vegan chocolate chip banana bread. Dwayne got a cappuccino again and an almond croissant 🥐 which he liked ok. Said mine was better.

Pizza
Very food allergy friendly. Lots of vegan options even lasagna which I would have liked to try but I loved my pizza. It doesn’t mention having any kind of jam but it seemed To have a sweet tart tomato jam but maybe it was the balsamic carmelized onions?. So good. The vegan cheesecake was so nice. And the salted carmel vegan gelato we got instead of strawberry sorbet was lovely. Dwayne’s lentil linguini was good and very different. (At least my brain doesn’t combine pasta with beans.

Just wonderful vegan gelato. I got Biscoff and pistachio. Even better than the first pistachio I got the first day. Dwayne got orange, rosemary honey not vegan and it was lovely. And he got chocolate hazelnut also not vegan. We walked along the Thames toward millennium bridge and crossed headed toward St. Paul’s.

Vegan
More vegan comfort food than healthy food though I could have opted for a salad. I got the cashew ricotta pizza. It was supposed to have eggplant but didn’t. They put zucchini in instead I guess but didn’t communicate that til I asked. I asked for mushrooms to make up for it and they sautéed me up some special Japanese mushrooms that were lovely. Really enjoyed this pizza. Dwayne ordered fish n chips which had mixed reviews. It was basically tofu with seaweed around it to make it fishy but it worked and with the batter and the tartar sauce it was good. Chips (fries) were quite tasty and the fried sweet plantain nice. (Less mushy, soft and sweet than usual) spicy sauce came with but he remembered I didn’t want spice and brought me a vegan mayo for dipping which was good. Nice experience with fun African music playing.

Thai
Loved this all vegan Thai place. Could get Thai tea with oat milk. Asked for half sweet. I got a pad se ew plate and Dwayne got the masaman plate. These lunch specials came with a salad and corn fritters. We got the garbanzo chocolate ice cream. It had a smoked flavor which was a bit strange. I loved my dish. And I loved Dwayne’s. The corn fritters were good but one was enough bc the sauce was a bit spicy. The salad had a little spice too but was doable. Not a traditional salad at all. Hard to describe. A lot of mushrooms. So many other things I’d love to have tried.

So yummy but definitely pricy. The server told us all the vegan items on the menu that weren’t a part of the vegan sampler we were getting. The truffle cauliflower and broccoli (sauce) and the grilled edamame were my favorites. All of it was good!

Salad might have been vegan and it was sure good! The Mac was also good with cauliflower in it but not vegan. Dwayne’s wrap was also very tasty but not vegan with the halloumi. Had filtered water we could fill our bottles with.

So very vegan friendly. So many items say right on the menu how to make them vegan. They have tofu and vegan bites which is like their veggie meat and a vegan goyza which turned out spicy. And vegan satay we didn’t try. They had 2-4-1 price mocktails if you orders the same drink. Serving size of my vegan teriyaki stir fry since I didn’t want all The rice and the salad dressing was spicy but it was satisfying. Very yummy. Dwayne liked his ramen but ate a small floating pepper slice that was quite spicy. He was kinda choking and crying. He removed the other one from his bowl. Walked in without a reservation but had we been much later I’m not sure we’d have gotten to eat. It quickly got busy. Cute vibe inside and out.

Ordered online ahead and upon arrival the cook hadn’t arrived. When she did a few mins later she was less than polite (rude) and then told me it would be 10-15 mins. It was 40 mins. The food was good however we didn’t get what we ordered. Didn’t get pics.

So glad to have good vegan ice cream. We also got chocolate but it tasted like coconut. Just a more normal vegan ice cream but not bad. The blueberry bergamot was so so good! 6.99 each I think

Got 3 appetizers and 2 large salads bc the one $29 vegetarian entree had the potential to be spicy. Our server was so nice to make sure all we ordered didn’t have spice. The polenta was the best! The mushroom toast was lovely. Root vegetables were solid. Dwayne’s beet salad was much better than my kale Caesar. Which didn’t have much flavor. Was glad to have kale since I don’t think I’ve had any since leaving on this trip. The meal didnt taste $97 worth but maybe $75bin today’s market. We needed all that food bc the servings were small.

Was irritated that there was no WiFi and no ac. Went after our via ferrata hike. Waiter assured us that the soup and my Thai peanut sauce wasn’t spicy and he didn’t lie! I loved it all! Made up for lack of WiFi and ac! Dwayne didn’t like his massaman as well as others he’s had.

I got portabella burger and it didn’t have anything in the description that was spicy yet it was. I still made it through and enjoyed. Ian liked his chicken and Swiss burger and Dwayne liked his impossible burger. Stella Liked her kids burrito and thought it was adult sized. Sweet potato fries were good.
