Always a line. Vegan chocolate is was good. Coconut based is dicernable. Fudge chocolate cookie on one side of my sandwich was good. Didn’t enjoy the pb cookie as part of the mix. Realized after ordering there was a gluten free vegan cookie I could have used. Dwayne’s vanilla vegan and strawberry lemon sorbet was a nice combo.

Enjoyed my Rae of sunshine latte and my berry apple pie de jour. cool old downtown river location.

My favs were the mushroom pizza AMAZING and dessert smores panda cotta that burnt marshmallow was amazing. And also the arancini. Dwayne loved the risotto

So many plant based options. Dwayne got tofu burrito. An Asian sweet chili sauce not too spicy. I got a lentil walnut burger. I was on the phone with Rachelle so got no more pics Dwayne liked my burger better.

I got the orange mocha special to go. Was good Kara worked here both days

Mushroom pasta soooo good. Dip de Trois was great too with Indian flavors but not spicy. Liked the zucchini frites and especially the dip Tumeric pasta was an unusual flavor. Maybe think pineapple? Fried rice good but not my favorite.

I ordered four sides. Pinto beans, cornbread, peanut butter, tofu, and kale. Dwayne🎸 ordered a plate that had the tofu and the kale, but also had mashed potatoes and gravy. I loved the gravy. Lots of things were kind of salty and I took some pinto beans and cornbread home because it was too much. We had planned to go to a Thai place that Caleb had on his list, but it was closed due to New Year’s Day. Several places were so we ended up here and would have gone to a crêpe place if this place had not been opened, but I felt better about this twice because it was a little healthier food 

We got the 4 offered flavors. Very good but over sweet. blueberry cake, chocolate glaze, apple cider, and plain glaze! We had gone to Hole donuts but they were closed because of New Year’s Day and would have gone back to vortex, but they were also closed so we had to drive out a little bit to get to this place

They loved that they had a whole vegan side of the menu. And vegan protein. I got the vegan fig and Dwayne got the viva la vegan and we shared half and half. Both very good. Wish I’d gotten mine on a bagel. We were headed to get donuts so didn’t get as much. Dwayne got a honey lavender bc of his experience yesterday with that flavor but this one wasn’t sweet. I dont remember what I got

Everything was beautifully presented. We knew it was going to be expensive going in. Dwayne🎸 liked my dish better than his curry dish. The vanilla bean ice cream left something to be desired. 

we hung out here for a while waiting for our dinner reservation at plant. We both loved our drinks. Mine was called a honeycomb and it was honey and coconut flavored Dwayne🎸’s was honey and lavender flavored and we can’t remember the name of it. We got them both with oat milk.

Most donuts were both yeast and cake. We got 2 of each. Didn’t love the chocolate covered cake donut. Liked the cinnamon sugar cake donut with some chocolate. Both the yeast were delicious. Espresso and vanilla bean. Had been sold out the day before when we arrived so went earlier today. Much less sweet than the donuts we ended up getting the next day.

We were going to get donuts so shared the green goddess as a bowl and liked it well. And the mushroom bahn mi with spicy sauce on side. Plus the side of the day. Some kind of potato salad. Mushrooms were tasty.

Two free drinks. Got both specials only when I got the fireside spritz I got it with prosecco and Dwayne got It virgin. Cinnamon a nice touch. The food was basic snacks

Hispanic kitchen. Hardly any eat inside area but we sat at the bar bc it was freezing outside and when the door opened we still froze. Decent food. Solidly good. Not blow your mind good. Pricing was also good. We each had a vegetarian arepa. 3 sides tostones, yuca fries and tofu. We were too late for the tofu lunchbox but they allowed us tofu as a side. All sides are vegan.

Different drinks. I got a seasonal special maybe called blue ridge fog like a London fog. Dwayne an oat milk latte. Mine was salty. Enjoyed but not Blown away. We waited here for several hours for supper time and hotel check in. Too cold to be out and about. We only went bc vortex donuts had sold out Of everything but drip coffee and this place was next door.

I liked the many options for vegetarians or vegans bc they had tempeh to substitute into things. Coconut caramel latte. It was not stand out. My food/grains and greens bowl was pretty stand out with good Flavor and barely spicy. Dwayne got The rubenesque sub tempeh. And tator tods. Also not bad. Wanted lentil fritters but didn’t want to spend more.

Liked that they had vegan options. Was more of a fast food quality. I had vegan mint chip and Dwayne mint chip and cookie craze. I got non vegan hot fudge on mine.

Fun choose your dessert place. The chocolate croissant wasn’t as good as hoped. Other two things good.

Not as spicy as it might have been. They did say it wasn’t spicy and it was but I’m a wimp. Enjoyed the tofu, paneer and veggies. The chickpea masala and black lentils were a bit spicy but diluted w rice or veggies I enjoyed it. Everyone else seemed happy. I didn’t eat it all.

Loved my channel orange latte. And my vegan Dino cookie. The chocolate vegan cookie Amber got was good.

I got the half salad half sandwich. Revival bowl and seitan Haffner. Dwayne got the vegan bahn mi and the same revival bowl. Amber got the 3cheese melt. Brian got a flatbread and Amy the special the vegetator.
