Jimmy T's Place
Breakfast
Easily my favorite breakfast spot in Washington DC. An adorable little nook that used to be a pharmacy. Food is great, waiters don’t give a shit who you are and are proud of it. Old regulars come all the time and they are totally part of the atmosphere. Very cute old diner I'll take you guys to know as "the heartbeat of capitol hill". It used to be a pharmacy owned by Jimmy T who is the grandfather of the lady who runs it now. It was converted into a diner in 1968 and they kept all the original tin ceilings and flooring. We chatted with a guy who comes here every Saturday and Sunday even though he moved away and he met his husband here. He worked here for a summer and knows all the staff and owners. It's known for not giving a shit who you are and what you do and they will berate you and kick you out if you ask for special treatment

The Queen Vic
Irish
Fabulous for Brunch. Kia and I came here for his cravings for English Breakfast. It totally hit the spot, the sausage was really unique and juicy and the beans were amazing. The toast was even great and hot and buttery. Definitely a favorite now. It’s totally quiet for brunch- no one ever comes in. We played the Sorry board game - our waiter let us open it up even though it was probably for decoration
