This place was really interesting. The noodles were kind of broken up instead of long strands. It tasted really good though.

The food was very tasty and they were on small plates so we were all diving in and taking bits to be able to try everything.

A quick snack while I take a break. It’s a creamy chicken curry puff and was piping hot.

I love this ramen place and I haven’t been back in a long time. After one ramen shop changed to selling curry and the other dropping their quality significantly, there is only Ipudo and Kanada Ya left in London that do really good ramen.

A lovely snack. I had the red bean croiyaki.

This is the first time I tried this combination. The salmon and edamame beans were fine. Then there was the mango. It had a sour taste to it which gave me a bit of a shock. I’m not sure about the combination, but I’ll definitely go back to try out the others.

It’s a whole pizza box full of schnitzel and paprika chips. It was a little too much but very tasty

The food was quite good. My chicken wings were very succulent and not dry which is difficult to find anywhere. I loved the turnip cakes.

This place does real tea! I was surprised to find my passion fruit green tea actually had passion fruit pieces in and had the rough taste of green tea. Their pearls are also much smaller meaning you don’t have to fight with the straw so much. Defiantly going back to this place to try out more.

I love the curry from here. It reminds me of Japan. I got the pork katsu curry with omelette rice

The croiyaki from here is so crispy and flaky. There are savoury flavours but I prefer the sweet red bean and the one I have in the pic is apple and cinnamon.

Milk train has actually moved to 12 Tavistock street which is sort of around the corner and down the street from where they were originally. My favourite is the black sesame flavour. Where else are you going to find such a unique taste?

They are heavy with the spicing but where else are you going to get a can of Ting?

The place is Santa Nata. They do very yummy Natas fresh.

We tried the mini taiyaki this time and they pack a lot of filling compared to many other places. I do prefer the bigger croiyaki mainly for the flaky pastry.

Super simple lunch.

I’ve never been to a harvester before. The food was good portion size.

They’re back and it’s amazingly super fluffy Japanese soufflé pancake. I tried the summer fruits and it was great!

Everything was a little over cooked and dry, but overall, it was quite good.

A sneaky dessert

Shuang Shuang and Yamagoya have swapped places. The ramen at Yamagoya has lost it’s deep flavourful soup stock. It’s now trying to be a fast food ramen place which may work for them, but seating is chaotic because you order you food at the till and then you have to find a seat somewhere before your food gets to you.

We ate so much we could hardly move.

Had awesome food at Lychee Oriental. What was even better was that we met Jimmy Lee!! My favourite dish was the twice cooked pork belly with aubergines in chilli bean sauce along with the chargrilled rib-eye beef and salt and chilli soft shell crab. Jimmy was an amazing host.
