J&M is a standard WI bar. 5 tables in the bar area and more in the back. We enjoyed our brandy old fashioneds. Brewers on the TV. The mini tacos could have used more kick. The burgers were cooked to order and juicy, and the sweet potato fries were tasty as well. Good place to stop in.

Blue and I ate here with SV and CF. The atmosphere and layout of the restaurant is very reminiscent of the Uno’s pizza that used to be in the location. Our waitress was good and attentive, but did not return to ask us how our meal was. We all tried different items. The nachos were tasty. I had the coconut shrimp salad. It was very good. The flavor profile is different from Mexican food and I think our group had a slight preference for that Mexican flavor profile. The food was good, but I’m not sure we would go back.

Ate here with NC. We sat away from the bar to hear our conversation but the staff forgot about us once we got our food. The burger was over cooked and the fries were cold. The other sandwiches were good. The chips were a standard kettle chip. The old fashioneds are muddled and made well. The football game was contentious so the bar was loud.

The food is very tasty! The spent grain and honey crust is good and I will get it again. Blue enjoyed the Italian beef (get extra just if you like it wet). The curly fries were so good. Will definitely be back. Fresh clean space that is inviting and not too loud. The bar tender was very attentive and helpful. Great place!

We ate on the deck and enjoyed the balmy weather and the sunset. The waitress was patient and timely. We had the Long Island and Mississippi Backwater cocktails. The spinach dip in the bread bowl with the tortilla chips was amazing. The entrées were delicious. Blue had a sampler of barbecue meat- so good, and I had the jambalaya - hot spicy and really tasty. We tried the chocolate chip bread pudding, which was tasty but very hot. We got it to go because we knew we couldn’t eat the whole thing. Lovely place to have dinner on the river. the only downsides were the soups in that clam chowder was thin and had no potatoes. No clams was pretty much warm milk with celery and the beer cheese soup was too thick and a little too cloy, would’ve been good with the chips from the appetizer.

The giant pretzel here is always good!! They have a great variety of food and the wait staff is friendly and helpful. They always have the game on.

Blue and I tried this place. Not as good as our fave BBQ (Bobs Bitchen BBQ), but very tasty. We enjoyed the ribs and the CK Smasher. The wedges were tasty, but the beans were not our cup of tea! Corn bread was just the right moist and sweet combo that was great. The pie was a winner (strawberry rhubarb) good crust and filling.

Had the brunch with family (C & B). The food was delicious but the portions are smaller than they were.,

Creative topped donuts. Taste is more like coffee cake. Worth a try but not sure I would go back…

Good pizza near the MSP airport. Great waitress!!! ( Pepsi shop).

Is loud (but that is a pub) the food was really tasty. Got burgers, the meatball sub, the bang bang bowl (a special). Everyone was happy with their meal!

Blue and I ate here with B & S and it made me Surly! We spent $13 on spinach artichoke dip that was the size 3x5” index card. The pizza were Neapolitan style and had so little cheese I am hard pressed to call it pizza. Yes I expect some char on a wood fire pizza but this char tastes burnt, guys! DO NOT GO HERE FOR THE PIZZA. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Blue and I drove here for lunch on a beautiful August afternoon. The pizza was tasty and the burger was good (over cooked but still juicy). Nice to sit outside but the place has quite a bit of space inside.

Blue and ate here with B&DW. Pizza was good. The Buffalo chic wrap was tasty! Blue had the rib special, unfortunately they were dry.

Back again with NC. Had the special burger and the BLT - such a tasty lunch!

Ate here with PF, the pear drop and the pb&j old fashioned were so good! The meals were standard Coopers Hawk delicious!!

Expected amazing flavors, they were good but didn’t knock our socks off…

Went for a drive to Randolph to see the grotto & stopped here for lunch. Took over an hour to get our food. The place was packed with guys who were all yelling their conversation. We ordered Diet Coke (it is a Pepsi shop). The potato skins were super hot but kinda bland. I got a burger it was ok l, again - bland. Blue had the beef sandwich which had a bit of scorch (or char) flavor. The bacon on my burger and on the potato skins was really quite tasty. Pretty sure we won’t be back.

Another excellent meal at Texas Roadhouse. Met NC and none of us had steak, but the dinner was very tasty!! Blue had a $5 LIT which he enjoyed. Only draw back to this place is how loud the music is - hard to hold a conversation.

The wraps were very good but the “cheese bread” stole the show. It was really cheese, butter, and garlic on the thick crust for the pizza - but, man it was so good!! Will go here again.

Went with NC. Blue tried the fireball special burger- yum just the right amount of spice. Red had the Mack burger (could have had less 1000 island) but otherwise yum. NC had a BLT - so much bacon. The fries are nothing special. Go for chips, Blue wants to come back to try other sandwiches and wings.

We ate here with NC and had a good lunch. This used to be a Hu Hot Mongolian barbecue and there are more meats to choose from but fewer vegetables and sauces. There is also a fruit and dessert bar. The ice cream is included as are the appetizers. This was an OK meal not one that we feel as strongly that we would go back to as Hu Hot.

We ate here with DWV when he stayed with us while on his way to RAGBRAI.. Doug had the perch which were huge. I hat the 2 meat que and Blue had the turkey & Brie baguette

Hole in the wall - ok food. Not sure I’d go back.

Fried mozzarella was ok. The dinners were fantastic. Chicken, potatoes and green beans were delicious , white gravy was yummy. The catfish sandwich was great buttery flavor and no trace of fishy. The best was the creamy home made coconut cream pie- I would go back just for that!
