The garlic bread with melted cheese hit the spot to start. We split the gorgonzola steak fettuccine and the pappardelle bolognese. Brendan preferred the bolognese while I enjoyed the fettuccine more. We both agreed both dishes were average and could find better Italian. We did enjoy the vibes at Angelo’s tho!

I got the cheese enchiladas which were average, I wasn’t crazy about them. Brendan got the carnitas plate which was incredible! The meat was so tender it melted in your mouth. They only serve it Fri-Sun.

We liked the spicy tuna crispy rice but the bamboo sushi was average and only came with 6 pieces for $20. The chili garlic chicken was the worst thing we’ve eaten this year. Wouldn’t go back here

Coq au voi in the dutch oven! We made it with chicken thighs/legs, carrots, onions, bacon, and mushrooms with a red wine sauce. Served over mashed potatoes, it was delicious! Took about 2 hours to make. We want to make even more next time!

$660 for 9 course meal for Brendan and I, we disliked 4/9 courses. Everyone was too posh and superficial. The guy next to us wore a $1500 prada lab coat. Way too expensive for food that we didn’t even like.

Both cheesecakes were RICH. It was almost difficult to eat an entire piece by yourself. Brendan got cookie dough cheesecake- I thought it was super yummy but Brendan thought it was too much and would’ve preferred an original cheesecake slice. I got the reese’s cheesecake that was delicious but couldn’t really taste the cheesecake.

The spicy tuna crispy rice was super good! We loved the rice but wished there was a sweet sauce on top of the tuna. We wouldn’t get the everything smoked salmon nigiri again- way too salty. My favorite was the hotel cali roll - fried and hot with cream cheese😍 The lion king was a little better than average- good but don’t need to get again.

The queso and chips tasted very authentic. Brendan and I both loved the quessabirria! Brendan got the tacos and I got the quesadilla. Brendan thought it was even better than Kekes!

I loved the spicy tuna crispy rice but Brendan wasn’t crazy about it (wanted rice to be softer in the middle). The pork belly bbq was our fav thing we got! We split the bacon miso ramen and the wagyu brisket. We liked the bacon one better but both agreed we couldn’t eat a full bowl of either because they’re thick and very flavorful.

One of the best panang curries I’ve ever had! It was sweet and creamy with a little heat 🔥 Brendan enjoyed the green curry but is wondering if the curry at Ros Siam is better. The drunken noodles were very similar to pad see ewe which I loved! Brendan would’ve preferred them a little spicier. We both agreed you couldn’t beat the $12.50 price for those entrees!

We got the tots which were covered in queso and bacon-so yummy. We both got a trashy trailer park and baja shrimp taco which are both phenomenal. Brendan also got a brisket bbq taco which he enjoyed. Felt full but good after this meal even with flour tortillas!

Expensive but worth it! We got the duck wontons which were filled with cream cheese, corn, bacon and coated in a sweet sauce with mandarines on top- very unique and delicious. We got the duck curry noodles which Daughter Thai is known for and for good reason! The duck was so tender and the sauce was so good and coconutty. We also split the tiger green curry (flank stank with veggies in curry). The steak was tender and the green curry had good flavor but it wasn’t anything to write home about and would try something different next time.

The thumplings are 🔥🔥🔥! The green beans were average and disappointing considering our waiter told us people come to Nanas just for the green beans. We got the dumpling roulette which I really liked but Brendan isn’t crazy about dumplings. The Xiao Long Soup dumplings were also so good and would definitely get again!

Really cute small restaurant in Sunnyside! I got the Delish benedict which was poached eggs, sausage and american cheese on 2 mini pancakes, it was delicious! Brendan got the veggie benedict and he really enjoyed it and thought the veggie sausage tasted like real meat! We both got cheddar grits which were good. We split a cookie dough pancake which we both enjoyed but wish there was more cookie dough!

We got the cowboy bites (corn, bacon, jalapeños, cream cheese) for an appetizer and it was really good. Brendan and I both got burgers. Brendan got the burger with cream cheese, jalapeños, and raspberry jam-he thought it was pretty good. He ordered a yummy side of poutine with it. I ordered a Lubbock burger with cheese, crispy onions, bbq which was alright. The sweet potato fries were covered with cinnamon and brown sugar which I didn’t love

Overall the food was good but don’t need to go back. I liked the atmosphere and the service was great. We got the kickin shrimp which had good flavor but I would’ve preferred more crispy. Brendan liked the spicy tuna crispy rice more than I did but neither of us thought that it was great and it was pretty flavorless. The Vegas roll and Hot Honey rolls were good but didn’t blow me away. Brendan really loved the Vegas roll tho🔥🔥

Brewers mac and cheese was the perfect comfort food! Very cheesy and the crispy onions on top were amazing. Brendan got flank steak with mashed potatoes and veggies. We got a beer flight- chocolate cherry, nitro stout, avalanche and tangerine dream. My favorite was avalanche and Brendan’s was the chocolate cherry :)

Make your own burger with pimento cheese, crispy onions, bacon, and mac and cheese- SO GOOD. The tator tots were average

I got mac and cheese with chopped brisket- the brisket was good but the mac and cheese was average. Dad got the trio sliders and really liked it

The arancini risotto balls were AMAZING. They came with a pesto dipping sauce. The garlic truffle bread was also good but heavy and I ate too much of it so I was already full after appetizers. The chicken parm and pasta was average, I wouldn’t get it again. The calamari were good (7/10) and the hot honey and prosciutto pizza was not good

Queso tacos with consome were amazing! Brendan got al pastor and birria and I got birria and steak. We both thought the birria was by far the best 😋

Flight of bacon was phenomenal (best bacon I’ve ever had). My mom and I both got traditional breakfasts (sausage, eggs, bacon tots, and pancakes). I got a cinnamon roll pancake and my mom got a carrot cake pancake. The carrot cake pancake was the best!

Rice with bouillon, salt, pepper, butter, garlic/onion powder, cherry chipotle pork chops from Sprouts, and brussels sprouts coated with oil, salt, pepper, onion/garlic powder, parmesan 😋
