Got the Egg Coffee and the Ube Coco. Ube Coco was decent but the egg coffee tasted water down and bitter. Waited about 30 minutes minute - not worth.

The interior design was undeniably charming—playful, bold, and full of personality—but the food didn’t live up to the hype. Despite being a recommended dish, the fried rice fell flat in flavor, and the pork belly was dry. It also didn’t feel worth the 30-minute wait. The drinks looked fun and creative, but I didn’t get a chance to try them this time.

Brigantine Seafood & Oyster Bar
Seafood
Oysters were fresh but disappointingly small, and the Brig chowder missed the mark entirely—no clams, just a bowl of potatoes in broth. The Brussels sprouts lacked seasoning and came with pork belly that was unfortunately overcooked and dry. While the dishes didn’t deliver, the setting was undeniably beautiful, with a stunning ocean view that made the experience feel a bit more worthwhile.

The wings were very well breaded and fried but the flavors were not as good as other places.

Bluewater Grill Seafood Restaurant & Fish Market
Seafood
The calamari was lightly breaded and cooked well, but it lacked seasoning and depth. The scallops were also properly cooked, yet the flavor was pretty bland and forgettable. Overall, the dishes didn’t justify the price—nothing stood out enough to make it feel worth a return visit.

Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was smooth, lightly sweet, and totally hit the spot. I came back to try the Mayan Mocha, but the sea salt threw me off—it just wasn’t my thing. The space is super cute and photogenic, with playful decor and a relaxed, modern vibe that made it a nice spot to hang out.

Ironside Fish & Oyster
Seafood
Clam chowder was loaded with clams and definitely hit the spot. The cheddar biscuit on the side was a pleasant surprise and added major bonus points. The lobster roll, on the other hand, was just okay—not bad, but nothing memorable. The vibe was bright and lively during the day, with a stylish nautical theme that fit the San Diego seafood scene perfectly.

Lumi's Crepes
Creperies
The Dubai chocolate strawberry cup was $16, but absolutely worth it. I don’t usually have much of a sweet tooth, so I was worried it might be overwhelming but it was a perfect balance of rich, fruity, and light. The pistachio crunch added a great contrast in texture and made each bite feel complete.
