Shrimp poboy - Didnt really like the bread on this, but the rest of it was good. Enough sauce on the shrimp. Too many fries and they just werent as great as the first time i had them - probably missed whatever toppings my friend had ordered with them previously.

Award winning burger basket with coleslaw side - i can tell why this burger is award winning. Its the platonic ideal of burgers - nothing wrong with it, nothing special about it. Interestingly, they put the burger on top of the toppings, probably to get a more beefy taste when you bite into it. Unfortunately im not a person who likes beef by itself, so I flipped it over and ate it like that. The fries are amazing, regardless of how soggy they look in the photo. The coleslaw was highly lemony and peppery, which i didnt like. Overall, the burger had absolutely nothing to complain about, and if im ever craving a burger Ill want this one.

Shrimp poboy - Dry. Also fell apart in my hands. The bread was dry and there was not nearly enough sauce, and they put the sauce under the lettuce so you couldnt taste it. The fries were delicious though. The shrimp itself was pretty good, but the batter texture only increased the dryness.

Lamb noodle soup spice 2 and dumplings - I was full when we went here, mistake on my part. The dumplings were amazing, but i got the soup too spicy for myself. Would drop a level if i went again. Also got the lamb, but would switch to beef or pork just to have a familiar meat. Im not a major fan of soups, so probably wouldnt get the noodle soup again. The dry noodles sound good so if i ever come back ill be trying those.

Risotto mexicano - Best dish I've had in a while. Lots of flavor, creamy texture, seafood cooked correctly and not overdone. Hint of spice. Waiter recommended to squeeze a lime over top.

Baked oysters - First time ever eating oysters! Rockafeller (cheese and spinach), J Scott (seafood sauce), and a house mix with garlic butter and breadcrumbs. All were good and Id get again. Fries had a delicious seasoning. Ive also gotten their raw oysters and those were tasty as well, tho i did douse them in horseradish and cocktail sauce.

Fish n chips - Fish was super oily - literally oozing oil. Ended up taking the breading off to just eat the fish. No fresh or acidic side to counter the amount of oil, tho perhaps thats traditional, idk. Fries were bomb as always and beer was cold, so at least that was good.
