Fantastic Mexican food
What we ordered:
Queso fundido with chorizo—wasn’t crazy about this. Lots of ground meat that just tasted like taco meat topped with melted cheese that toughened up when it cooled
Special salsa—they charge $2 a serving (less than a 1/2 cup) and we had two. The price seems steep but the salsa was truly delicious with lots of fresh cilantro
Fajitas combo with chicken, beef, chorizo and shrimp—cooked perfectly
Chimichangas plate—chimis were good but small, came with rice and beans
Vallarta especial burritos—one each chicken and steak, very good and very filling
Frida shrimp with Diablo sauce for Bea—very spicy and she said her tongue was on fire but she loved it

Great breakfast
What we ordered:
1/2 country ham breakfast—I didn’t care for the thin, tough ham and the watery but very salty red eye gravy. Eggs Sunny side up were also served mostly raw. I sent back the eggs which they cooked medium over easy (perfect). Next time try honey ham and substitute sausage gravy
Chicken and waffle—fantastic fried chicken with huge, thick Belgian waffle. Very filling.
Biscuits—fantastic
