So good! The happy hour prices for the hand rolls were amazing and so were the drinks! Best sushi place we’ve been to in Miami. Must come again!

felt like a sports bar because of the TVs and honestly the burger wasn’t great. We asked for medium rare and it was well done, and the pizza was just too expensive. no need to come back

White sangria was amazing, as was every single tapas! I love the steak and potatoes one, and the rest was also amazing! Definitely come again!

My fault for ordering the wrong thing. The short rib lasagna needed way more cheese. But my friends’ chicken was so so good and I wish I had some.

Moule frites, my favorite! Perfect for my birthday meal. Also, someone must have overheard my friends saying happy birthday to me because they gave me complimentary crème brûlée !!!! So yummy and perfect! Will definitely come again just for the service!

Decent sushi, but nothing crazy. It was so empty even on the weekend, but at least it wasn’t super expensive. Fair prices for average sushi.

The paella was decent, but the absence of seafood was really obvious…wish it was much bigger for the price as well. the squid was bad, period. drinks were fine. Definitely would not come again due to price inflation

The flatbread was so-so, just a bit too liquidy for me, while the steak tartare was amazing, though I’ve never had bad tartare lol. Great atmosphere, but definitely ask to be seated upstairs instead of downstairs, since there’s much better decor.

Truffle fries were good but could use a bit more truffle flavor. The white dipping sauce was great though, I didn’t know what it was. The mocktail I got (blueberry mojito) was great and Kathleen’s mac and cheese was great, though could’ve used more cheddar.

Really fancy place in PVD with nice vibes, but it was too expensive in my opinion for the quality. The steak frites were good, but I wish the meat were sliced. The desserts were honestly so subpar. The chocolate tarte was so rich and strong I couldn’t finish it, and so was the lemon mousse. The crème brûlée was fine but nothing special. And the service was SO SLOW. We got there at 5:45 and left at like 7:45.

The Salty Pig
Italian
We got three pizzas, the Funghi (5/10, the mushrooms didn’t fit the pizza. I wish they were regular ones), the Salccicia (7/10, a little spice kick and was overall enjoyable) and the Diavolo (10/10, the cheese was super gooey and the spice was so perfect!)

It was good, and definitely authentic. I got the black and white flavor, which was vanilla and chocolate swirl. But for 8.50$, it’s still overpriced.

Honestly the best pizza I’ve had in the North End so far. The crust was super chewy and soft, and the pizza was super flavorful and cheesy!

Blank Street Coffee
Cafe
Honestly the best cafe I’ve eaten at so far. I’m definitely not a cafe expert, but the chocolate croissant I got here was SO fluffy and good, and the pistachio latte was delicious. 9.30$ in total, and honestly it’s a good deal in this economy especially for the generous size of a small coffee. New favorite place!

So yummy! We got the vegan polpette as an appetizer which was actually pretty good, and Lucia got the bolognese (fresh pasta!) and I got the al funghi pizza without cherry tomatoes. Probably some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! $17 for the pizza and $17 for the pasta. Complimentary bread (so-so) but the olive oil was authentic and incredibly tasty. Great spot near me!

Gelato seemed pretty authentic with how fast it was melting, but the artificial coloring of the pistachio made the aftertaste not so appealing. Mixed berry (not pictured) was phenomenal, though. 6$ each

Ernesto's Pizza
Italian
Finally went to the famous Ernesto’s Pizza in the North End. We got a cheese and a margharita slice, for $6. They actually give you two slices, so in total we got two cheese and two margharita. Pizza was good, but for me did not too Regina’s. The Margharita was much better than the cheese, but definitely nothing special. 4/10.

So bad. I got the brisket plate and it turned out to be a bowl. So expensive and not worth the price at all. My friends got the pork enchiladas and it looked horrible (pictured). They rated it a 3/10. The drinks apparently are very strong and very good. The coconut margarita and the manga mangarita were very worth the price.

Amatriciana portion was HUGE, but the noodles were over cooked, and I’m pretty sure they used bacon instead of pancetta. Total let down. There were so many TV screens everywhere, it felt like a sports bar with early 2000s pop playing in the background. Would never come again honestly. The prosecco was good, but when is it ever not?

Pappardelle with lamb ragu was super flavorful, but definitely needed the extra cheese I ordered. Calamari was chewy and the marinara was too liquid-y, so I wouldn’t order that again. But the marg was super good (amazing tequila!) and the vibes + community menu were great. I would totally eat here again, but maybe try the carbonara and the caesar salad next time.

Forgot to take food pics. The sweet potato hash was great and the beignets were perfect! I wasn’t a huge fan of the chicken and waffles though. I obviously enjoyed the soft serve mimosa 😊
