Chemex coffee 5/5 Huevos fritos & tocineta 3/5 - normal, bacon was tough and chewy Casta de amasijos - pan de yuca 4.5/5, almojabana 5/5, roscon bocadillo 4/5, roscon arequipe 3.5/5 (really good dipped in coffee, i wouldn’t get the roscones again)

Almojabana 5/5 Pan de yuca 3/5 (I think they have a good pan de Yuca, I just don’t love Pan de yuca) Gloria 4/5 ( it’s hard to get a Gloria wrong, it’s puff pastry with guava paste.) Capuccino 2/5 (very average cappuccino. They use on my coffee.)

Capuccino de la casa 5/5, chocolate paris sara: 3/5 - delicious Carlos 5/5, but very rich and unable to drink all of it, macarons: vanilla 1/5, raspberry 4/5, orange 4/5, cannele 4.5/5 - love the flavor but the texture wasn’t on point, almond croissant Sara: 1/5 Carlos: 4/5 From previous notes: the lemon macaron, strawberry macaron & strawberry eclair were all delicious.

We’ve been to Costco a number of times. I love their ceviche’s and their tuna. The suspiro limeño desert is delicious, like dulce de leche pudding (4.5/5). Yesterday Carlos ordered a fish talked with seafood and like a brown coconut sauce, and it is definitely worth ordering again (4.5/5).  the mojito that Carlos ordered was very strong.

So far, from Loli, we have had the red velvet cookie (orgasmic), traditional Mojito (fav i’ve had in bqa), strawberry mojito ( yummy), and almond croissant (4/5). The one thing we didn’t like about this restaurant was the layout. The roof is really low and it feels like you’re in a cave you feel really crowded and a little suffocated.

La Ganache is one of my favorite places to go in Barranquilla. I’ve tried all their macarons (ranked below) and most of their desserts. The most memorable is their meringue cake (both choc & white choc). My favorite burger spot! Carlos loved the coco blue, so we had to go back one more time before we left Colombia. Chicharron were good, classic.
