The $4 brunch mimosas on the weekends before 2 PM are awesome! Raspberry is good, but peach is even better! The California roll is decent and Russell liked his rainbow roll. The dog friendly patio is the real draw (though it was super cold the day we were there)

The chips were decent and the tacos were too. The Carnitas was a bit better than the chicken, which was kind of dry. It hit the spot for a quick meal before driving back to Dallas.

The eggs and breakfast potatoes were very good! The bacon wasn’t crispy and the pancakes were pretty underwhelming despite being beautiful. The French toast was a little better, but overall wouldn’t get these again. The Bellini‘s were also more like fruit juice with very little alcohol.

Outstanding from start to finish! The soup was surprisingly good and everything we tried was fantastic including the service. The bread was delicious and it was fun that they had a flight of different bubbles. I had the chicken enchilada soufflé and the cauliflower soufflé. Both were very good, but I would try something different next time. Russell had the ham and cheese, but it wasn’t quite as good as he hoped. For dessert I had the strawberry soufflé and it was wonderful and light. Russell got the bananas foster and it was even better than the strawberry!

Everything was fantastic. We got mild spice, which was pretty hot for both of us. Russ loved the lamb curry and I really liked the butter chicken. The naan was out of this world and the saffron chai was so good we took a big batch home. Don’t need the kheer again- very shredded. Excellent service too!

Really great find! Like a Brazilian steakhouse but they have so many great sides and salad in their buffet! And it’s also cheaper than a traditional BS but the same great meats so it was perfect for both of us. My standouts were the Parmesan chicken and the filet along with the squash medley and sweet potatoes.

The yellow curry tasted good, but it was very soupy and didn’t have the carrots and potatoes that I normally love. They literally only put bell pepper in it, (and Kiefer leaves, which were very good). The edamame was good and the sweet sticky rice with coconut ice cream was decent, but I wouldn’t get it again.

Overall it was decent - we might return. Russ liked the lamb curry and the 2 spice level was almost too much. The naan and roti were good and I liked the momo chicken dumplings! The chicken tikka masala was okay but the 1 was very mild so I might try 2 next time. Veggie samosas were very good.

Absolutely fantastic start to finish! The staff was wonderful, the food and wine delicious and the ambiance lovely! Need to track down the local honey next time we’re in town. We got the full charcuterie board and added the pepperoni with personality and the shaved beef which were amazing!

Ambiance is nice and they have a dog friendly patio (which we didn’t use this time). I’d wanted to go here since I found it last year and they are definitely creative but some of the food didn’t quite land for me. The flatbread appetizer was a bit hard and dry and didn’t really come together. The crab cake and pork belly was fishy smelling and not good like other crab cakes I’ve had. I got the manchego and sweet potato ravioli and it was very yummy - except that the walnut sauce was a little too sweet and really stacked up as the dish went on. Russell absolutely LOVED the beef bourgonon and was stuffed afterwards. Overall, I would try it again and order the salmon instead.

The ambiance and the options were awesome- but it was hard to choose. After looking at some reviews for individual places, it seems this place is a little high priced and the quality can’t back it up. Russ liked his sandwich but it had a LOT of green chili that stacked up. The loaded tots were absolutely great and we both loved them! I went with the waffle shop and did classic waffle and chicken but it was drowning in syrup and ruined the dish. Couldn’t finish it and didn’t wind up going back for the strawberries and cream waffle that I wanted for dessert.

Fun time eating inside with Otis surrounded by a great ambiance. The Bluecorn crusted tilapia was good, but lacked some flavor and the egg paired with it was weird and bland. But the cauliflower side was delicious and so was the sauce it came with. Russ liked his steak dish but the real standout was the spicy cheese enchilada! Would definitely just order a plate of those next time!

2024: We went during happy hour, so lots of things were on special. The queso was very good. The green chili was OK, Russell liked the steak chimichurri taco the best (skip the shrimp next time). The chicken enchiladas with poblano sauce were very good, but I might try something else next time. The pomegranate margarita was super strong! And the bourbon apple drink tasted decent, but did not pack a punch. May 2025: comfy couches on the dog friendly patio made this place awesome! I did not like the pear martini, but I loved the poblano soup and chicken Tinga taco. Street corn elote side was good but do not need it every time. Dec 2025: the Oaxaca cheese curds are delicious!! Strawberry margarita was good ($8.50 during happy hour) get the chicken Tinga taco with no onion and the rice is nice with a bit of sauce on top.

I like getting the spinach ravioli with no marinara and a side of Alfredo. The side of broccoli was very good, but remember to get the salad with the dressing on the side. Russ got the Vesuvius and he didn’t love it since it was too spicy.

This wasn’t as great as I remember from 2019. The main tea room is undergoing remodel so we were in the bar and it was cramped with a boring view. Some of the food was good (the scones) but some was dry. And the sweets seemed way too sweet. The chai was okay but not outstanding. And the cupcake they gave me for my ‘birthday’ was inedible. I expected better so I might give time another try in the future but this experience could not compare to The Brown House or The Hermitage Hotel.
