A great Beijing style restaurant that serves large portions of food. The Peking duck is tasty with enormous portions of meat. Great CP and the staff are really friendly. It's been around for decades and still has a 1990's feel to it which is part of the charm of the restaurant. My kids loved their 鳳梨蝦球 and of course Peking Duck.

Zoe is the owner of this hidden vegetarian restaurant in Taidong. It's an outdoor seating, omakase style vegetation restaurant and she just prepares everything from scratch. Meal was NTD350 per person and was full course made from scratch.

This is a small restaurant that has been in this night market alley for over 40+ years and the menu consists of 4-5 items. There's always a long line and I tried it for the first time. The dishes are no more then NTD100 a piece. Dishes are tasty and great for a quick bite.

Tasty high end steak house. Steaks are amazing. Presentation and ambiance top notch. If you are looking to impress, this is the place to go. Also the cake is gigantic and the most decadent tasting chocolate cake served with hand whipped cream.

Look beyond their name and realize this is a really good healthy salad / healthy light food eatery in Taipei. This is the best healthy salad place in Taipei. You can customize your salad in so many ways down to each and every ingredient. You can add meat, fish, tofu etc... The black sesame drawing is the best.

Ambiance is hipster restaurant meets lounge and the food is a creative twist on Taiwanese good. For example, the spring rolls have oysters in them. The food is really different. Place really attracts a younger hipster crowd as the place turns into a lounge after 9pm and is full of pretty people.

Some of the best Japanese food I've ever had. Super fresh because it's located in the fish market (Aquatic Addiction). It is also super expensive but you won't find better King Crab or other seafood.

Best value steak and lobster place in town. Fries are unlimited and decadent. Mac and cheese is also great. Very limited menu but that's what's great about Le Blanc. Also probably one of the best burgers in Taipei.

Wow! This is a super famous roasted chicken place in Yilan. This is one of their larger restaurants. If you get their set meals you can make a reservation but otherwise need to wait as the line is long. Roasted chicken is amazing and they roast in these clay ovens. You need to rip the chicken by hand into smaller pieces and eat it. They save the chicken oil that you can dip the chicken meat into. Eat it with the fried onions. It's super delicious but super fatty but oh so good. I gained 2 kg that dinner.

Quality of the beef is excellent and you usually need to make a reservation. They specialize in Wagyu beef. The servers will also help you cook the meat so you don't have too. We got the Wagyu platter for 2 but should have gotten a bigger protein as the meat is really, really good but portions aren't large on the sample platter.

Great hidden Izakaya hidden away just outside City center. Local recommendation where there isn't a time limit. Izakaya is really good and they don't charge a corkage fee so long as you buy NTD$500 worth of drinks first.

This restaurant is in Linkou and it's been around for a while. If you want some authentic, no-frills Taiwanese food and you are in Linkou, this is the place to go. The goose is what it's known for and delicious but pretty much everything is so delicious. If you don't know, just ask for recommendations. Thumbs up!

This is a tiny little hole in the wall Burger place that my friend found so we checked it out. Damn fine burger. Will be back again. Only one tabke inside and two tables outside.

Pretty decent hamburger. I usually get the double and it's filling and pretty good value $190 ($240+ for set). Resemblance to a high end Wendy's Burger. Good for a burger fix.

Great Tainan Noodle shop with great Taiwanese food. Good place to take guests.

Great Poke. The only bad thing is this store is tiny. Only like 12+ seats.

Cure little French restaurant tucked away near Da An station. Very authentic and generous portions. Not very crowded and highly recommended. Blackboard menu. For a quiet dinner with great atmosphere and food, can't beat this place.

Wow! Pretty impressed with this burger. One of the best burger places in Taipei. Got the Apple Cinnamon burger.

The matcha shaved ice is the bomb! Great little cafe in the heart of Gehsha district

Clean, modern Japanese set meal restaurant that is also pretty good value. Use iPad to order your meals. If you want high end fast causal, place to go.

Finally got to try the おにぎり / 飯糰 / Onigiri Trailer that popped up in my neighborhood. Always packed with long lines in the morning. For a quick snack that fills you up, can't be beat!

Great salads and brunch place. Prices are super reasonable and it's just cozy and big enough (3 floors) to go for any occasion.

Great Peruvian restaurant in Taipei. Desserts and the meats are really good. Pork outstanding.

Didn't know that this place received a Michelin Star. Classic Halal Beef noodles that are delicious. The beef wraps and 豆苗 are also delicious. Great pricing too!
