Hibachi Steak Bowls! Tastes great. We used half the onions but wouldn’t be upset to have had more. The zucchini was simple and great! Rice was flavorful but I would prefer less sticky and do the 50/50 rice to water ratio next time. Steak was great, sauces were flavorful and spot on. Prep wasn’t too bad and flew by with two people. One could do it also but we wanted to do it together for Valentine’s Day. This dish was made with love! Portion sizes were great! The worst part of this dish was that we ran out of room in our bellies!

Pretty good. Portions were enough but not as heavy as other meals have been. Carrots were Brian’s favorite part. Onions were a great prep good. Cleanup good. Good solid meal.

No better than a cheap frozen microwave lunch bowl. Arguably worse. Portions were fine. Edible if we had to. Doctored up with green lid Thai soy sauce and sugar to make it acceptable. Just don’t.

NOTE* If Catey didn’t add grilled chicken and seasoned it, I probably would have been disappointed. BUT… she made chicken. Salt, pepper, garlic and onion seasoned the chicken. The vegetables were super flavorful. Simple salt and pepper and baked. Lots of pasta. Not enough vegetable. Catey would eat it again. I guess I could. Prep decent. Our least favorite so far from EveryPlate.

Savory, sweet and flavorful! Great portion size. Catey preferred without the sausage. Prep was easy! Brian enjoyed it. Almost a 2. Would be good as a vegetarian dish also.

Potatoes lacking, added worstechire and brown sugar to the sloppy joes. The meat was the best part and is a great sloppy joe, the garlic solo was nice also but the buns were a miss. Gimme some cheap buns and maybe some fry seasoning on the potatoes and crispier would make this better. Portions good. Preparation wasn’t bad. Lots of dishes to do.

Thai
Thaibrid Fried Rice- A hybrid of Thai and Chinese cuisine as adapted by a fat American white guy. Won an “I tried” trophy at first but after a few renditions, has bloomed into something rather lovely. Cook it quick! Don’t let things cool. The order of ingredients is urgent. Easy on the seasoning. Don’t forget to add some sugar!!!! Easy on the soy sauce. A little goes a long way! Let the flavors speak for themselves. Keep playing with this recipe! It keeps getting better!

We had this on 2/2/23. Easy one person prep! Wonderful explosion of flavor in your mouth. Great textures! Carrots were wonderful browned, crisp texture and sweet and savory! Yum! Recommend trying air fryer instead of oven for the potatoes for more crisp. Portions great! Cravable! Brian really liked this one! Winner winner chicken dinner! Definitely should be a staple. Keep franks red hot seasoning (not the sauce) and panko stocked!!

Good flavor on pork. Nice blend of seasonings and savory. Potatoes could use more butter but not bad. Cooking a bit complex. Recommend two people to cook the meal together. Don’t make this in a rush. Portions decent! Two servings would be sufficient for two people. By the end of the meal we went for seconds. Cravable! Trim the fat after cooking next time! The fat was less than enjoyable.

The makings of an amazing chili. Just short of perfect. Extremely flavorful, like, too flavorful. Perhaps add a can of tomatoes and more beans. Great with any protein. As is makes the best hot dog chili you have ever had. Keep experimenting with this one! Ingredient list was where I got seasoning idea. Skip the cumin. Yellow card was exactly how I made the first time. Flavor gets stronger after cooling and reheating!! Try adding habaneros, sugar, cocoa, cheddar to get to be a great hybrid of my original Chicken Chili recipe.
