Beijing Noodle No. 9

Loved the walnut shrimps they are really good. The beef chow fun has good flavor but the beef is not as good. Other dishes are quite good. The only thing is that the pork shiu mai is tasty but $15.95 is a little too expensive. I know this place is inside the Caesar Palace hotel but still for dim sum that price range is too high. The other thing is the service. The waitors are friendly but for some reason they gave us the chili sauce in a plastic togo container like for ketchup but the next table with all white americans they gave them chili sauce in nice small plates.that is what I don’t like about it.

Breakfast
Good breakfast place! They have interesting menus that I haven’t seen in Bay Area. Loved the Sweet Trio it is a shareable dish with you family. The cinnamon pancake is very good! The drink mocha latte is okay but my husband ordered an Americano and it did not come out right they put too much water in it. So my husband ordered an extra espresso shot and surprisingly the espresso itself was quite good.

Big bone soup is really good and so big! You can add the pho for $3. I would skip the pho next time. The soup has more flavors than regular pho.

Fish and chips is decent maybe not the best but it is above average - I would order it again. The portion maybe a little small but it is $18 - cannot expect more since things are getting more expensive in Bay Area. The clam chowder is okay… the texture is a little too thick for my taste I would not order next time, but will go there again to try other seafood entree.

The shredded chicken is pretty good. The fried rice is yummy. Next time probably would not order the black sesame dessert as it tastes like supermarket brand.

The food is yummy and the portions are big. The price is a little bit high based on the location in Hayward, but the food quality is good, the servers are friendly too. I love the soup and the fish, and also the roast pork. Will try the dim sum next time.

The food is decent, milk tea is good. The baked rice is better than the street style noodle soup - it just does not have the authentic Hong Kong taste, so is the fried dough more like American style... But the dim sum is yummy, would go back and try the dim sum. Also the beef tendons in the noodle soup is pretty good, probably I would recommend getting the beef tendon only for noodle soup.

Popcorn chicken is so tasty! It brings back my memory of traveling to SoCal and my friend introduced me to have popcorn chicken. The milk tea is good too. The sizzling plate is very good. This is one of my local favorite restaurants!

Surprisingly the soup dumplings are just as good as Ding Tai Fung. The noodles are big and good enough for 4 people to share. The pan fried pork buns are crispy and juicy definitely one of the best I have tried. The beef rolls are ok probably won’t order it next time. Will go back and try again.

Black Angus Steakhouse

The burger is good. The steak is good however the portion of the steak is seemed less than 6oz. Also they charged us for $33 for the steak when online menu on their web site is priced at $31. Not sure why they charged $2 more… maybe the soup is an upgrade item? The waiter also did not tell us the special of the night according to the online menu they have a 6oz filet migon with butter sauce for $21 I would have ordered that instead.

KAZUMA SUSHI

The fish is fresh. But according to my brother the portion of the premium chirashi don was used to be bigger. I guess the result of inflation. But on the other side the tempura plate is a better deal to order than the tempura appetizer. Overall the food is decent and yummy. The only thing to watch out is you better check with the chefs to make sure they have the food on their special menu before you order. We went before for the premium chirashi don but they did not tell us they did not have that and insisted we ordered the regular chirashi don. It seems sometimes they have temp staff and they don’t know anything…

Hong kong style milk tea with a pair of cute teddy bear and puppy. Curry fish balls, and the ovaltine chocolate milk toast. The toast wasn’t our favorite. I think regular french toast would be better. The curry sauce is pretty good and the milk tea is not bad. Next time will try the baked pork chops rice plate.
