Great heartwarming dinner, fully of wine and a thoroughly welcoming, rich and friendly atmosphere. Was a dinner offered for my friend Toto as he did not smoke for a whole year. Welcome of the house: tempura fried sage with teriyaki sauce + watermelon gazpacho Great Starters: Me - mountain egg with goat cheese cream, tastyy Wine: rosso frari Bordeaux blend, perfect Toto - raw fish tartare, super good Wine: garganuda, biological soave crisp and mineral First course: Me - paccheri with eggplant and tomatoe, good but a bit ‘naked’ Same wine rosso frari Toto - sea pesto - seaweed blended in fish broth + oysters Wine: ribolla gialla Second course (shared) Roasted eel: deep gutsy meaty and thick, with its amazing crispy skin on top Simple and terribly effective, Totally shocking and delicious Toto wine - Pinot noir, not the best wine but perrfect match! Me wine - aged Chardonnay great great wine, but too aromatic and round for the eel Dessert: Toto - Spanish Sponge with vanilla ice cream, candied orange, and ginger, incredible With pear grappa spirit Me - lime and lemon spherical sorbet With passito di moscato, veery good Best pairing if we exchanged desserts and kept the drinks (; A full nostalgic, homecoming, heart warming dinner and journey to the feast of a joyous friendship! :))

Great meal, memorable atmosphere. Cicchetti starter was superb: best baccalà and sarde in saor of my life. Perfect with ‘questo neanche’ glera spumante col fondo. Great first course: ricciola fish lasagne, odd but fantastic contrasting wine pairing with sour ‘weiss-beer/Radler’ Riesling. Ricciola fish Second course good but a bit underwhelming compared to the rest, Red wine amazing but not perfect match. Very nice gelato + tiramisù dessert with a absolutely glorious passito from fior d’arancio grape. One of the best meals of my life, Definitely the best Venetian one! ;) Julie Pellizzari
