Cute hipster place in Lecce- could be Brooklyn :) nice menu and good food. Couscous with grilled veggies, olives & tomatoes and for FC tuna salad. Good bread basket!

Full breakfast at our hotel...amazing watermelon, quick walk to old town.

Our favorite place on this trip so far - traditional dishes: fava soup with chicory/ orecchiette with rape minus anchovies/ grilled veg/ pasta & chickpeas in a traditional cinnamon & cloves- so delicious!!! Also for FC meatballs...

Best beach club, limited menu but delicious! Posted FC's food for our travel log even though it's not vegan. Bruschetta & grilled veggies for me. Octopus carpaccio, frisella tomato, and spumoni for FC.

Sooo good. Purée of fava beans with sautéed chicory and for FC spaghetti con ricci mare (sea urchin) two traditional dishes n Puglia that we've been looking for!

Quick bite by Porto Badisco beach...veg pucce was toasted here, indoors beach spot.

Drove through pouring sheets of rain back to our place...easy dinner downstairs - antipasto of veggies for me and grilled fish for FC which wasn't that good and expensive at 18euros for the place and compared to what we've had.

We didn't dine here but the space is lovely complete with rooftop access in a working old town that inspired FC.

Stopped for a quick pucce with eggplant and cheese plate for FC. Right next door to a tiny chapel. Another sweet town.

Most amazing peaches - have never seen white peaches so red and juicy. From a grocery /fruit stand driving out of marina Pescolouse In leuca.

Lovely town and lovely restaurant, finally had fava (typical puglian dish) with grilled veggies, FC had bucatini amatrice, and thick sliced tuna carpaccio not on menu...nice ambiance. We sat in courtyard with huge retractable cover that FC found fascinating.

Recommended by a shopkeeper, we were suspicious since it seemed a bit touristy but FC enjoyed the fish carpaccio and monkfish pasta. Chic little town.

Cutest little place along the water about 10km before Marina Pescolouse on Via Fabio Filzi. We had pucce (puglian pita sandwiches) so good.

This shop owner down the block insisted that we try this fruit - cactus figs- sweet and full of seeds which you just swallow.

Cosy. Small menu: start w/mixed appetizers- an array of seafood &peppers for me...tuna pasta for FC.

Freshest seafood- seafood market where you can also dine...very basic but according to FC - amazing, simple, delicious and so inexpensive!

Insalata mista terra- delicious small plates of veggies and orecchiette pomodoro. Decor is kitschy though not meant to be, friendly service.

The most delicious spaghetti with garlic, oil and peperoncino...simple but exquisite. Visited a few yrs back for the Cacio e Pepe which is still good...priced so well it's ridiculous. House wine was delicious. The sautéed chicory was nice and bitter but the artichoke not so yummy...service is somewhat lacking but worth it for the food.

Awesome amatrice verde (senza formaggio) -perfectly cooked pasta in a delicious spicy smoked sundried tomato sauce....also yummy was the bruschetta...and the setting was charming, modern and lovely.

Beautiful desserts: gelato, chocolate, etc all made by the owner in a cool, minimalist environment- a few nondairy options like this Strawberry Basil sorbet- refreshing!

Decided to check out the East Village location and yes food was delicious like in Brooklyn and service lovely but the actual restaurant left much to be desired....strong smell of mildew :(
