Pork Soup w/ Soondae on the side | $13 It is a flavorless soup which you would need to dump in the two paste they provide to give it a more satly taste. The sausage didn't not taste if blood at all. But then again, it surprised me that it had no taste at all. The best part of this meal was the side dishes. I'd come back just for the Kimchi. The service overall was great.

Southern Dandy w/ Firecracker Fries | $16 Smoked Bone Marrow | $16 The starter and ketchup was probably the best part of this meal. The Firecracker Fries has a weird unique taste that you can't quite put your finger on, and it isn't a taste I would want to try again. Bone Marrow was okay, I'm not the biggest fan of its texture. The bread and jelly that came with it was amazing. The burger was okay. It was greasy and not that savory. Had a weird kick aftertaste too. Then again, I'm not the biggest burger fan.

Seafood Hotpot for Two | $40 Paired this with soju, this was honestly one of the best hotpot I've had. It was a nice taste from the broth and each of the seafood was good. The portions were generous and plenty for the crabs and clam. The side dishes were standard and tasty. I really like their Barley Tea

Chirashi Don | $19 It came with a Miso soup, which was salty a'f. Honestly could not eat it. The fish itself was OK. It reminded me of all you cna eat places that aren't of decent quality. It was passable. The yellowtail was very fishy, fishier than what I expected. This dish didn't wow me. I don't think it's worth the price.

Taro Tea Latte | $5 Pricey but good. Taste like what you would expect from a taro based drink. Too overpriced imo but it's whatever.

Mixed Sundubu-jjigae w/ Rice (Regular Spicy) | $10.99 This was very good. I especially loved the side dishes, as they were marinated to my liking, a tad bit sweet and sour. It was coupled nicely with the meal as it helped me "reset" the spiciness I experienced from the meal. The only unfortunate part was that there was little meat in the mixed option, but tons of tofu. The soup base very flavorful.

Original Tonkotsu Ramen | $13 Pork Cha Siu Mini Donburi | $6 Karage | $8(?) The ramen was good initially, where the meat is SO SOFT. It literally melts in your mouth. For the most part, the ramen was tasty, the broth was just not too much to my liking. The donburi was okay. The meat was so-so (a little saltier than I would like), but filling as it is suppose to be. The karage was GOOD. It was juicy and crunchy, just as karage should be. Probably one of the better karages I’ve had.

Fried Gulf Snapper | $18 Shucked Oyster | $15 For the snapper, it was cooked well where the inside was nice and moist(?). But honestly, all fish seem to taste the same once they are fried. Hence, I was not super impressed for the price, but that just be a ‘me’ thing. The oyster though was pretty good. It was on par with what I had in New Orleans, and honestly I hate many. This was well worth it if you can split it with someone. I would come back here, but not anytime soon. Enjoyable!

Phở Tái | $8.50 Gỏi Gà | $9.50(?) For pho, it was quite on par with what Argyle has to offer. Better than 777 but not quite as good as Le’s Pho. The Goi Ga was fantastic though, granted this is the first place in argyle that I’ve tried ordering that dish from. Definitely would recommend if you want some savory chicken salad.

Uni Nigiri | $3 Just making a post for the Uni. The salmon and tuna were good, but I already knew that. The Uni was super good. I think this is my first time having Uni, so I can’t really compare it to anything, but it was definitely on par with the how I feel about salmon.

Nigiri | 1$ - 5$ per piece For cheap sushi, this really hits the spot. It’s a good replacement for going to an AYCE (with some fish being of better quality). Gonna every piece I ate was good so I’ll be scooping up some of the more expensive pieces when I get the chance. For this, I ate the: 1. Salmon 2. Snapper 3. Yellowtail

Half Chicken w/ Mac & Cheese, Mashed Potato, and French Fries | $15 Nothing spectacular. Nothing amazing. Only the fries were okay amongst the sides. Chicken was Ight. Wouldn’t go out of my way to come again.

Nitro Cold Brew | $5 Every coffee drinker says nitro cold brew taste super good. As a black coffee, it taste like any other black coffee. Though the taste is the same, it’s very smooth. Maybe it’s because it is cold or something, but it’s very pleasant to have it taste smooth, even with the bitter taste. Kind of addicting. The after taste and burping it back up does taste more pleasant 😅

Lemongrass Porkchop & Chicken over Rice | $12.50 Good for the price. I was surprised. The meat is a bit dry at times but generally well seasoned.

Hyderabad Chicken Dum Biryani | $15 I can only compare this to Ghareeb, but it was good. The rice portion was hefty and much more flavorful and spicy than Ghareeb’s. However, the chicken was so scarce. That lowered the quality / dollar in my eyes. Tasty but wouldn’t come back for this, as it’s too costly for what’s served. Would try the restaurant again though.

Lunch Special —- Kitsune Udon w/ Small Tuna Bowl | $15 This was so fucking good. Tuna was not fishy. It was fresh and tasty. First tuna I’ve liked. It didn’t melt in my mouth, but it was tender. The udon was good. Nice and lightly salted. Very flavorful. The noodles were nice and bouncy as well. Would definitely order again. One of my cravings now.

Omakase | $65 It taste good. Not as good as the one in LA but definitely feels worth it for the price. Favorite was definitely the salmon. Key: 💯>Delish>Yummi>Average>It’s Okay>NotBad
