I had an amazing quiche at Chimay’s Experience at Chimay! They make it with a blend of Belgian cheeses produced by the Abbey itself. The beer was also delicious, of course! Chimay is one of the 10 places worldwide that produce authentic Trappist beers.

Linguine al pomodoro e parmigiana

Café Metteko is a great place to have some beer with a beautiful view of the “Bourse”. In this photo we are having a Kasteel Rouge (with a cherry flavour) and a St. Hubertus Amber.

I made a version of carbonara with linguine, 3 free-range egg yolks, 50g of pecorino dalla Sardegna, 1 clove, smoked veg sausages and a big punch of black peper (to remember coal or “carbon”, as the dish’s name suggests)

The famous fish & chips from O’Reilly’s! The fish and the fries were crunchy, delicious and perfectly fried, but the best of this dish is their tartar sauce with a pinch of lemon. Now, about the beer menu, I was disappointed by the few options of draught beers.

While in Brussels, going to Café Leffe is a must do experience! The place is very charming and their beer is worldwide renowned. Totally worth it!

Risotto ai funghi. I used a blend of creamy Belgian cheeses and it worked very well with the mushrooms and onions. The base sauce also have Bordeaux wine and balsamic vinegar.

Homemade pancakes filled with brigadeiro (a Brazilian chocolate dessert) and with berries and chantilly on top! Very yummi!

I always buy my street waffles from Los Churros and they never let me down. This one is made with white chocolate, strawberry and pistachios, a very good combination

Moscow and London mules. It was refreshing, but I missed the ginger foam though

Vegetarian ramen. The marinated egg was delicious! The sour Shiitake was also very good. I just think that they could have boiled the noodles for a little longer though.
