Loved the apple pear salad, great contrast in sweetness and acidity. Pork jowl was flavorful with strong fish sauce notes, but would not order again because the pork was a bit too chewy/hard for me. STILL LOVE THE SAKOO tapioca dumplings, very salty though. But so gooood. Tofu, egg and rice could be a pass. Not memorable.

80% goodness, 11 dishes total we ordered. Would get again - halloumi - love the addition of orange, mint and pomegranate to cut the rich fattiness of the cheese -pide (with sausage) was solid, tasty, not super spectacular but would order again -mushroom couscous was creamy and tasty! -cauliflower was goood! Crisp exterior did they airfry it..? But perfectly cooked inside, nice flavors almost like cumin or curry?? Would not get again -TLDR; The meat portion of the meal was subpar -could skip the fried mussels and squid...i liked the squid’s Yogurt like dipping sauce. -chicken was soso, dry...and lacking. Nice smokiness..but would not order again -skip the salmon, was not bad, but nothing special going on On the fence -i liked the lamb tongue, half of the table hated it. It is gamey like lamb is. But overall pretty tender (for tongue) the sauce was very unique with a punch to it, an acidity that helps cut thru the gamey lamb. Overall - it was better than i expected. They dont do the meats well...would skip and only order vegetarian dishes. I would come again now knowing what to order.

thai milk tea kakigori: flavor of shaved ice was not strong enough..but there was a flan in the middle that was delicious but texture was too hard. The whipped cream ontop was good, a bit salty..? They included caramel which was weird. Herbal jelly was good, lukewarm to keep the jelly gelatinized, taro perfectly cooked. Purple sticky rice soup: nice and hot but a tad too sweet. I wish there was taro in it or something to add texture

上海小吃 Loooong wait over an hour, not worth it. Food came out fast though. 生煎包 was not bad, nice crisp bottom and soupy interior, soupier than most places. Would order again. 小笼包XLB: very very soupy which i love, but flavor needs improvement, not savory/rich enough... skin thickness was good! 芝麻凉拌面Sesame noodles were very peanuty and a bit too sweet for my liking, but still good 葱油拌面 scallion oil noodles - not enough scallion flavor, very QQ, chewy! Great texture. The rice cakes (not pictured) had good flavor from the veggies, but not chewy enough..
