I had “The Beast” with a Greek Pasta Salad as the side. If you aren’t a regular you’ll have to ask to see the menu and their sides aren’t listed on it so make sure you ask before assuming there is only chips available. The service was fine. My sandwich was good but nothing special. I would eat there again but if a better alternative was around I explore that instead.

🇺🇸 Bainbridge
The American
AmericanSouthern
Visited the American while staying in Bainbridge for work. The setting and decor was good ole southern Georgia. Mason jar cups, red/white checkered napkins, and colonial pictures. Service was good but not exceptional. No complaints here. Food was delicious. I had the Skillet Cornbread for an Appetizer. It came out hot and was served with local honey. It had some jalapeño heat to it which I really enjoyed. For dinner I had the Corn-breaded Fried Chicken with a honey Sriracha glaze. It was a bone-out chicken breast deep fried in a cornbread batter. It was light, flaky and surprisingly not greasy. The sweet and spicy glaze was delicious but was very rich. My side was mashed potatoes which was good but nothing to brag about. I wish I would have gotten a different side. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely be back in the future.

Had the hamburger wrap and pasta salad. Nothing exceptional but the service and food was good. I would recommend for those passing through Donalsonville.
