Gobi Manchurian: Indo-Chinese fried cauliflower with lemon, curry leaves and a sweet and sour sauce ($8.75) This dish was really flavorful, and filling with the side of rice. The cauliflower had the consistency of an orange chicken dish, dense with delicious sauce.
Pork Vindaloo: A Portuguese influenced dish from Goa. Pork braised with red chiles, garlic and vinegar. Served with buttered rolls ($12.50) Flavor was super good, not heavy feeling, smallish portion, not really shareable
Rice: saffron-scented, Basmati long grain rice ($3.25) a little dry, much better with the sauce from the cauliflower
Candied Fennel: (1$) fun, tasted like black licorice
Would be fun to order & share plates. Probably better family style. Would go again! (But Josh says he wouldn’t)
